WACKY WEDNESDAY
In Te Maunga we had a Wacky Wednesday. I dressed up as a backwards person. One thing I liked doing was walking backwards. We had to go have a class and a school photo.

Earthquakes/Volcanoes
In Te Maunga we made an Earthquakes/Volcanoes slide. I learnt that we are a part of the ring of fire. My favourite thing is making a Google Drawing. We had to read the texts and do a report.

Shake out day
In Te Maunga we had a shake out day. We learned how to keep safe when there is an earthquake. When there is an alert you have to hop under a table and hold the legs or try to get as far away as possible. Next time I know to hop under a table or get as far away as possible.
The Olympic Games
In Te Maunga we made a Google Slide presentation of the Olympic Games. We learnt about the Olympic Games and who the first people in the NZ Olympics Games were. My favourite part was making a Google Drawing about Darcy Hadfield and George Davidson. We had to read the text and make a drawing and name it Notable Names.

Measurement
In Te Maunga we learnt about measurement. I learnt about perimeter and what it is. A perimeter is an outline of a shape. I liked learning what area is. An area is the inside of the shape or object. My favourite part was drawing the shapes. We had to draw shapes and then we had to find out what the perimeter and area was.
